I posted web2py version 1.47. There few changes: 1) should work with python 2.6 without warnings (thank you Tim) 2) on GAE, it lets GAE serve static files (thank you Robin) 3) the default welcome app now has a db.py file that works on gae (as an example).
Please give it a try. There are a couple of more patching in the queue and they will be processed. If not, remind me.
