:D *cache object has no attribute memcache* seemed pretty obvious as an error.... Where did you expect to configure, e.g., the host and the port of the memcache instance ? .....a book needs to be read "top-bottom" (at least chapters), not a jumping here and there looking for snippets..... it's a book, not a cookbook of tips'n'tricks.
