I don't think so.

There was found a workaround for the "unexpected behaviour", but not a 
solution for the "bug".

It's my fault to expose two different things (although closely related) on 
the same post.

Could anyone reproduce the bug exposed at the ticket 
1684<http://code.google.com/p/web2py/issues/detail?id=1684>
