I've got a fairly substantial page with a lot of data in it that I don't want to keep reloading the page so I'm using the AJAX function provided with web2py and pulling the data from a SQLFORM used in the view page.
Question I have is, I'm using validate_and_insert function, I was wondering is it necessary to escape the input on the server side first before the validation_and_ insert function?
