Thanks for your replies!

I was looking for something that does exactly this, using a dict with class 
syntax, and I could only find solutions that would set class attributes. 
The only problem I stumbled upon would be to use the key "from" as it is a 
python keyword. Other than that, I just couldn't find a solution that 
worked as Storage does.
