I read your last post again more carefully. My application repositories are the application directories in the standard web2py directory layout. It never ocurred to do it any other way since this is the most natural way and is what I thought the book hints at in its discussion of IDEs. It works really well for me. I don't encounter pycharm problems, it does what it says as far as I'm concerned.
