Thanks, that makes sense. Ok test2 in the above code comes from a potentiometer that is sensed inside the module. Right now I'm not really doing anything specific and I'm using the code I put in here; I'm just trying to learn. So what you said matches with my tests that with http request it gets updated. I have rephrase that to clarify. If I do http request the database gets updated immediately. If I don't do http request data gets updated in about 15 second. Based on what you said, and the fact that I want it to be faster I may have to use scheduler. I think scheduler can do it in 1 second minimum. So the web2py crib has been removed?
