perhaps you can use python subprocess, but it's not thread safe *e.g.* *static/scripts/test.sh* #!/bin/sh nohup python web2py.py -S VideoTest -M -R applications/VideoTest/modules/video_to_flv.py
*controllers/default.py* import subprocess def test(): command = "applications/VideoTest/static/scripts/test.sh" process = subprocess.Popen(command, stdout = subprocess.PIPE, stderr = subprocess.PIPE) output, err = process.communicate() best regards, stifan -- Resources: - http://web2py.com - http://web2py.com/book (Documentation) - http://github.com/web2py/web2py (Source code) - https://code.google.com/p/web2py/issues/list (Report Issues) --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "web2py-users" group.
