unfortunately, that does not have some key tools, and - as a emulation of Linux and shell environs I think will be lacking (no rsync, for example). I think its fine if you don't want to install a bigger wad, and if you have specific needs it covers... but cygwin updates are automated and easy, and adding / removing pieces of cygwin works too.... the biggest think I had to worry about w/ cygwin is to NOT use it's python, bazaar, or mercurial.... and once I realized that, it was pretty easy to manage...
