I found the problem!

It was not Enthought. It was stackless. It replaced itself as default
python installation.

I am rebuilding the binaries as we speak. If I manage to upload 1.66.2
tonight from the Internet Cafe where I am at, please give it a try. I
may also have fixed (temporarily) the file unlocking problem that some
users have reported on Vista/win32.

I shut down the server temporarily to speed up download. Sorry. I will
be up again shortly.
