Yes.
Set the auth.expiration to something very long (in seconds) and expire
session yourself:
if auth.user and auth.last_visit:
expiration = ....
if auth.last_visit + datetime.timedelta(days=0,expiration)<
request.now:
auth.user = None
session.auth = None
where expiration is the expiration time for this use that you compute
somehow
