Hi Alex, This is the right place to make your suggestion. I am sorry that no one commented, but this may mean that the group didn't see the benefit of the patch very clearly.
However, It would be a shame if someone goes to the trouble of submitting a patch and didn't get a reply. I hope others may also get time to comment and, better still, try it out and, if they like it, second it.
