Currently , I get selected value, through form.accepts or request.vars. I need to keep values in form unaltered. and this is the only way.
*That said, If I can get equivalent of selectedIndex in JS in server side, I can live without this problem( as of now).* *But, I'm curious to know, why this is happening.*
