How are you hosting this? Shared hosting provider, VPS, or running your own server?
The reason I'm asking is because I run WordPress with BlueHost shared hosting, and more recently, I started running a site on my own dedicated server. The performance of WordPress is terrible. At first I thought it was shared hosting, but even my own server sitting right next to me takes about 5 or 6 seconds to load the admin interface of WordPress. Anyways, I am working with a few friends to build a startup company and we wanted to use WordPress for our sites, but I was thinking about doing a WordPress clone in web2py and I noticed that your site is pretty snappy. It's actually faster than my locally run WordPress installation.
