I'm using PyDev (latest) with debugging all the time, putting breakpoints at the controller or inside the controller code just works for me. I'm using Windows 7, Eclipse Helios with Aptana, no problems with earlier Eclipse without Aptana)
I just start web2py.py inside Eclipse (right-click, Debug As, Python Run). Nico de Groot
