Changing the "announce" class specification on line 13 in examples.css
from :

.announce { position:absolute;align:center;color:white;top:120px;font-
weight:bold;text-align:center;}

to:
.announce {clear:both;color:white;top:120px;font-weight:bold;text-
align:center;}

takes care of the problem for me.
