I have finally had some more time to sit down and look at the Intel
cameras I have again. I noticed that the SPCA5xx driver project has
files that have been added to webcam-osx. I was curious if anyone is
working on that particular segment, or what has been done with it, as
these cameras use the SPCA5xx chips. The Pro Camera that I am trying
to get working is not recognized by the CVS build, so I am guessing
the SPCA support is still experimental. The specs on it are:
Version 0.90
SPCA505A is the specific one used in this camera
Product ID: 0x0430
Vendor ID: 0x0733
Please excuse my ignorance, as I am a newbie in terms of looking at
the technical aspects of some of this, but where can I download a
complete copy of the source to work with? I would be glad to attempt
to get this series of cameras working if someone wants to give me a
few pointers on accessing the source. I have done a limited amount
of C programming, but have never worked on or examined any sort of
these projects before.
