I really think what you are doing is just great, and wish you the best
to be able to support most of the pc cams using macam. I tried the
software on two of my pc cams (details listed below) and didn't work.
It would be great if these cams would be supported in your future
releases. I am using version 0.8.5 of macam
Creative PC-CAM 300:
Version: 1.00
Bus Power (mA): 500
Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec
Manufacturer: Creative Tech. Ltd
Product ID: 0x400a
Vendor ID: 0x041e
Notes: macam was able to recognize it but got a grey screen instead of the camera image.
USB camera:

Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec
Product ID: 0x613c
Vendor ID: 0x0c45
Notes: Obviously this was not recognized at all. This camera is made by
Fujing, it's a shitty camera that I bought because it said on the
package that it supports Mac osx but obviously it was a chinese trick.
