Believe it or not, Strawberry Shortcake had a camera that is similar. Support for these cameras is proveded by the OEM. For example see:

They were like $10 each so I said what-the-heck and bought two(or I was bought two ;) ....My grandma is using one on her PC and works great but on my Mac is a different story. This company made other cameras with Mac drivers just wonder why they didn't do the same for this one. Under system profiler it shows up as a "USB Digital Still Camera". Specs: OS: 10.3.9 Macam ver: 0.8.4 (found out about ya'll from Apple's site)
