Hi John,

I just added some relevant code to the CVS. You should
get the latest and compile it.

Your camera will be supported by the SN9CxxxDriver,
or one of the variants. You need to add an entry in the
[cameraUsbDescriptions] method of the right class. I
don't know which one, but SN9CxxxDriverVariant2 is
probably as good as any.

Of course, I have no idea whether the SN9CxxxDriver
classes work at all; I have no camera to test with.
If you compile with "Debug" or "CV Build" configurations,
you get a lot of (potentially helpful) messages.

Let me know how it goes, what you find out, and feel
free to ask any questions.

As far as subscribing, I think you just click "subscribe" on

Cheers,
Harald

Hi,

I have a new usb camera its a generic webcam but seems to have
a Sonix SN9C120 chipset.  I'm also an experienced programmer
and will be looking at the source RSN.

The camera doesn't work, is there any chance its simple to get it
working?

Thanks,

John
