Try the latest version (0.8.7). 
If that doesn't work, run the latest cvs-build and send me 
the output to the console log.

For iChat you need iChatUSBCam (shareware from someone else).

Actually, if you have a camera, please let us know if it works or not, by emailing the following list. Include camera specifics, the name, model, vendor and product IDs (from the USB pane of the System Profiler), which version of macam you have, and also the Mac OS X version used.

Subject: Any help out there - I'm stuck!

After connecting up my Logitech Communicate STX, it seems to connect up... but when I  push the "play" button... the application quits and I get this error message.

I also was unable to get the camera to work with iChat, even after I dragged the component into the Quicktime folder in the Library file...

Any suggestions, or clues for me?
