Hi Peter, 

Sorry, the Orbit MP is not the same as the Orbit. 
Logitech especially makes cameras with the same names that 
are very different insides. 

Your options:
- Complain to Logitech (they can use macam too of course, subject to GPL)
- Port linux driver code (linux-uvc, <http://linux-uvc.berlios.de/>), I can help but not test
- I could port it if someone sent me a suitable (any of the four new QuickCam's)
- Wait, someday it will be supported, but it may be a while
