Hi Daniele, 

Use the macam application to adjust the settings to your liking. 
The choose the menu item "Save Settings" and quit. 
Now when you start another application that uses the macam 
component, those settings will be used.

I just bought a Creative Vista Plus after checking that it was  
supported. It does indeed work, although the image is very distant  
from what I got from my Sony camcorder. :)

I do however have a little problem: I can't seem to find a way to  
change the video settings from within Yahoo Messenger, which is the  
software I bought it for.
How am I supposed to do it? I've tried looking at the docs and made  
some searches on the mailing list archives and the support tracker  
and bug tracker, but to no avail.

I need it because otherwise the image tends to be really overexposed  
with the default settings, for some reason.
