Hello,
I just bought an Logitech Communicate STX Plus where the plus
probably means the stereo headset that comes along with it. Still, I
get no image with Macam or anything else, though for example iChat AV
picks up the microphone attached to the cam even though it's just an
Unknown USB Audio Device.
System Profiler shows the camera as 'USB Device':

Vendor ID: 0x046d
I'm running 10.4.7 and latest updates. It just seems weird that
there'd be some tech changes regarding the camera with the 'plus'
package.
What actually should happen when I run macam? I'd get the cam image
instantly or if it's unplugged, I'll plug it in and the video should
pop up?
I tried running with the CVS build along with the 0.8.8 macam and
tried switching to different USB ports. One on the back of the
Powermac G5 (PPC), one in the front and one behind the Apple Cinema
Display.
