Just to avoid any implied confusion: I have tested macam and BTW
*separately* from Skype. So I am not running either of them, when I open
Skype.

My Skype preferences show that I am using video, and the correct camera
name is selected in Preference. However, even in preferences the video does
not work. It's just the default background of the window.
Please send any tips. This might cause a bug submission though, as I have
done pretty thorough trouble-shooting. (I have 2 degrees in computer
science, but that's not saying much as I focus on Theory).
