Hello,
First let me say it's a great service you're doing
getting otherwise PC only periphrials to work on macs.

Okay, now my problem. I never really planned to be a
webcam user, but I recently purchased a Dynex dx_dtcam
at bestbuy, because it claimed to work on macs and was
cheap ($20). But in reality, the video does not work
at all. The included mac driver, which I assume was
outdated with the upgrade to tiger, or prior (I'm
running OS 10.4.8 on a 1.4ghz g4 ibook), only gets the
mic to work (and that's only sometimes).

This is what appears in the System profiler:
USB camera:

  Version: 1.01
  Bus Power (mA): 500
  Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec
  Product ID: 0x60fb
  Vendor ID: 0x0c45

I'm sure I won't be the only Mac user to encounter
this, since bestbuy has really been pushing it, and
the pakaging clearly states that it supports macs
(10.1.4 and above I believe).
I know it's cheap, but it's frustrating when a product
doesn't do what the package claims. Please let me
know if there are any developments.
thanks
Omar
