Hello,
I recently bought a copy of Delicious Library and was quite disappointed to
find that neither of the usb webcams I borrowed from co-workers work with
Quicktime (and thus doesn't work with Library). Hence, I stumbled upon this
project, only to find that you don't support them either! I have confirmed
the identities of the cameras based on the entries on the site: id 129
[0x0471:0x0303] and id 499 [0x041e:0x401d].
I'd be happy to add support for these cameras, though I don't have any
experience with usb programming. I started with the first camera above and
based on the ExampleDriver created a logging stup which is loaded when I
plug in the camera. It is my secret hope that the camera will "just work"
if I used the 'MyPhilipsCameraDriver' but beyond inheriting from that class,
I'm not very sure how to proceed.
Is there a developer "getting started" type page somewhere (I didn't see
anything in my CVS co)? Also, does this project have an irc channel
somewhere or is most coordination done via the mailing list?

BTW: I must congradulate you on your code-base; it is some of the cleanest
