#1: Thanks. Without macam my Dual G5 2.5 GHz machine would be blind.
#2: System Profiler does NOT report the Product ID, 0x08ad, that you list for the
Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX.
Instead it reports 0x08d7. The application, macam reports
the device to be a
Logitech Communicate STX Plus although the 'Plus' is not on
the box.
#3: System Profiler also does NOT report the device to be on my machine's USB High-Speed Bus. Instead it reports the bus on which it is found to be just plane USB Bus (where Bluetooth HCI is also located).

#4: The device fails with 'USB communication problem' when connected to a Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 7-Port Hub. No other device that I have has had a problem with this hub. I know from your FAQ that hubs are an issue, and I hope it can be resolved.
#5: I'm running OS X 10.4.8 with all updates applied.#6: Thanks again for this life saver. I'm 70 and my son and his family have just moved to the other side of the Atlantic.
