Hi,
I recently bought a Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX for my powerbook g4.
it requires me to install the macam driver to work, so i did. i followed the
instructions in the readme, and put the macam.component in the appropriate
folder. i also installed the ichatusbcam driver so i can use the webcam in
ichat. anyways, ichatusbcam works, and so does the macam application. but
the driver doesn't seem to work! i tried to get a new video recording in
QuickTime pro and it crashed right away. i tried using photo booth and other
video applications, they all crashed as well! after i removed the
macam.component driver. i tried quicktime and photobooth again and i got the
usual warning that theres no camera plugged in (but they didn't crash). i
believe the problem is the macam.component driver. is there any way you can
help me fix it?
