Camera not listed in Macam page. Manufacturer name - V Gear Camera name and model number - TalkCam Messenger USB camera: Version: 1.01 Bus Power (mA): 500 Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec Product ID: 0x612c Vendor ID: 0x0c45 The camera is USB and originally supported for OS 9, OS X. After installation there is a program WebCam Monitor, but dont know if there is other driver components. Searching by name of the camera and didnt any result. Camera works with 6 other programs, but not with Macam. Make it, I love Macams UI. Its very strange, cause camera is recognized by system and all programs I have, except Macam. There is other software in the box, but its only for PC. There is two models - TalkCam Messenger and TalkCam Messenger Pro. In both boxes the cameras are twins, but in Pro model box there is microphone with one headphone, rely you dont need it. It is very, very cheap camera 18$ only, so the quality is the same. Hi contrast with direct sun light in room, smashed, pure saturated colors in day light conditions and almost black screen when turn on the lamp. You will need another direct light source in the evening. There is other software in the box, but its only for PC. Cable of camera is very hard and can bring it down if its on the desk. May be thats all. If you want just to have a camera on your Mac, get it. If you want some more serious - look around.
