Hi,

It does depend on the domain model (obviously :)), but this could be
refactored out quite easily. Another option is that you take our domain
objects (mostly Event and Calendar) and use that in your app as value
transfer objects.

Might I ask what kind of app you're writing? Eg. open-source/proprietary?
