I'm a complete newbie when it comes to installing web applications and
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm using ubuntu 8.04 JeOS to
install Webical on and I've used apt-get install to grab tomcat5.5,
mysql-server, java-6 jdk, and the JDBC Connector. When I add an admin/
manager user to tomcat and try to install the .war file via the admin
web interface, I am unable to start the webical webapp. The message
states: "FAIL - Application at context path /webical could not be
started" and there is no webical.log file made. I don't know how to
fix this. Also, I get a warning when importing the DB_setup.sql to
mysql, but I can't see what that warning says. Please help me.
