Hi Ivo,
   There are actually couple of things which could perhaps do some trick in
getting some traction on the project.

a. Is your project mature enough that I can put a packaging request to
debian (wnpp)
b. Have you listed the requirements to run webical as a server/client thing
somewhere where its easily foundable (link please)
c. A changelog of each new version.

If it does get into any of the distributions, then there is possibility of
lot more people being interested in the same.

Another thing would be if you are able to talk/share your work with the
wordpress guys. If some kinda deal or something could be worked out between
you guys it would also be cool for guys like me (who use wordpress)

just top of my stuff, don't really know how much of it would be doable or
not?
