Fix static analyzer warning in RenderListBox::paintItemForeground and update
safer C++ expectations

Fix the outstanding safer C++ static analyzer warning in
RenderListBox::paintItemForeground by
deploying another protect call.
Also update safer C++ expectations.
No new tests since there should be no behavioral changes.
