XTech 2007 is from May 15 to 18 in Paris, and just as with this past year and last year, one of the four tracks on the conference agenda is "Browser technology". See the list of suggested topics:
http://xtech.expectnation.com/event/1/public/content/tracks Proposals for tutorials and presentations for it are due by December 15 (this Friday). http://xtech.expectnation.com/event/1/public/cfp Most presentations in the browser technology track at this past year's XTech (XTech 2006) came from people associated with Flock, Mozilla, Nokia, and Opera. Speaking just a someone planning on attending XTech 2007, I think it sure would be interesting to have developers from some other browser projects there. To propose a presentation or tutorial, you just need to submit a short description (25 words or so) along with an abstract (250 words or so). It shouldn't take you more than 20 or 30 minutes to write up one. If you want examples, see the schedule from this past year's XTech: http://2006.xtech.org/schedule If you have a great idea for a proposal but don't figure you can manage to get around to writing it up by Friday, you might be able to get a little more time if you contact the conference chair and let him know you'll need to submit it a little late.
