fatal error: error writing to -: Broken pipe
compilation terminated.

One of our commit-queue machines have been hitting this quite often as
of late. 10.6.5, Snow Leopard, 12GB RAM, 2xQuad-Core Mac Pro.

I'm curious if any other developers have seen such?  Or have any clue
how I might debug?

I'm happy to file a bug to Apple, but I'm not sure there is much
useful information to give.

(Yes, this is why the commit-queue is occasionally rejecting patches
for failing to build completely unrelated files.)
