I'm not suggesting that you have to go through non-committer status and wait for committer/reviewer nominations again once you passed that threshold. It's more about temporarily suspending accounts and removing people from committers.py to better access control things. If they're coming back to WebKit, they can request their committerships and reviewerships reinstated. - R. Niwa
