We proposed a shared memory concept a long time ago: https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53485 Although it helps to reduce the message passing (decoding/encoding) costs of large buffers, it still involves JS on the other side. We are definitely interested to improve JS with multicore support. Now even phones have 2-4 cores, and would be great to use them for computing.
