I don't think so, at least not yet. The WPE port is not a widely-used system library like the GTK+ and Mac ports. Currently it is used mainly by our own customers. I'm sure we can handle migrating them to a new API, if we agree to construct that new API. We were not expecting this objection, so we have not discussed it internally yet, but this seems like a solvable problem.

I think Carlos's plan to reuse the non-GTK+ bits of the GTK+ API would be much better for us.
