Configuration changes are coming to JSC bots in both EWS and post-commit. The changes are intended to increase JSC team's developer productivity in discovering more bugs quicker and earlier. The changes will roll out in two phases. Phase 1, JSC post-commit: - Debug arm64 bots are moving from Debug O0 to Debug O3 (aka "Testing"). This should drastically improve runtime of those bots. Phase 2, JSC EWS: - arm64 bots are moving from Release builds to Debug O3. This change is expected to be a ~35% increase to the duration, from about 37 minutes to about 50 minutes. - Intel bots are unchanged, pending hardware upgrades. Phase 1 will roll out next week, the week of November 10. Phase 2 will follow after validating the rollout in Phase 2 for 1-2 weeks. Notably, once Phase 2 rolls out, assertion failures in JSC will block merging. If you run into issues, please reach out to JSC team.
