Hi,

https://trac.webkit.org/ still exists. Since there is no warning banner that the content is obsolete, and no link to the replacement website https://docs.webkit.org/ it continues to confuse people who find it.

The lowest-effort way to fix this would be:

* Redirect https://trac.webkit.org/changeset/ to https://commits.webkit.org (e.g. https://trac.webkit.org/changeset/295779/webkit could become https://commits.webkit.org/r295779)
* Redirect everything else to https://docs.webkit.org

Of course, then we lose all the older content, but at least it would no longer be actively harmful.

If somebody was willing to spend more time on this, we could do something much nicer, like convert it to a static archive (so that old content is still viewable) with a warning banner linking to docs.webkit.org. Or add more specific redirects from old trac articles to the newer versions on docs.webkit.org.

Food for thought.

Michael
