It looks to me like some sort of hardware problem related to the
disk storage, as if either the intermediate compiler products or
the pages from the source files are getting corrupted (sometimes I
get complaints about weird chars in the source). Along these
lines, I tried switching hard disks, but saw the same issues. I
tried both disks both internally and over Firewire, and FWIW this
is a dual 1.25 GHz G4. On the other hand, I don't get any system
hangs or panics, which would be more like other hardware problems
I've had it the past. I don't really have any other odd symptoms
besides these flakey WebKit builds.
