I have an issue with to regard to playing local swfs wherein the video
based swfs load and play properly with the webkit_web_view_open API but
when the local swf needs to connect to the internet and get the data to
display it is not able to connect to the internet.
I have Adobe flash 10 and have also set the Global Security settings for
internet access for the particular folder housing the local swf (its an
RSS Reader) which works fine from other browsers.
I also tried the same swf in GTKLauncher of webkit in case there are any
errors in my app but the swf also fails to connect to the internet in
the GTKLauncher too.
Is there any security setting in webkit which does'nt allow socket
communication from within swfs ?
Please let me know the details.
