To be the bad guy here...the decision is really up to the stakeholders at 
Nokia right now as they/you do the majority of work anyway.

What is the difference between having a QtWebKit 2.0 and not having it at all?

branch with the 4.7 tag available? Is that everything? If we don't have an 
independent release process today, when will we?
