Hi,

Building WebKit2 with Qt5 isn't so difficult if you have Ubuntu 11.10:
- install sedkit-env-qtwebkit package from this PPA:

I did as per the email and the trac webpage but I'm not seeing any sign of
webkit2 being built.

I set QTDIR to my qt5 base:
  /data/dev/qt5/qtbase/

Should I have prefixed the Qt5 install bin dir to the path?
  /usr/local/Trolltech/Qt5/Qt-5.0.0-r21/bin

Yes, you should!

If you try qmake --version it will inform you about your current Qt version and its path.

Also, is there a test browser for webkit2?

Yes, the binary is located at WebKitBuild/Release/bin/MiniBrowser

thanks,

Cheers,

Zoltan
