Hi Lawrence, Using the V8 engine with QtWebKit was always highly experimental and was never officially supported or even fully functional. Since the benefits of using V8 diminished more and more over time the decision was to discontinue the V8 experiment. Although the option is still there in trunk the configuration is nonfunctional, or not even compiling by now and it will be removed soon.
