There are no news. Adobe has officially stated they will continue to maintain
10.x on Linux but will not port 11 to Linux. Flash 11 will only be available
on Linux through Chrome (the PPAPI).

We have looked into PPAPI, but while it started many years ago a generic new
api for plugins, Mozilla dropped their plans of supporting it years ago, and
it is today entirely Chromium specific with a mess of different major
processing models (same process, different process but native, or NaCl), and
hundreds of API interfaces with different versions. All this complexity is
used by less than a handful of plugins that are ONLY shipped with Chrome in
specific versions. It is so convoluted, proprietary and apparently fragile
that not even Chromium is using Flash through PPAPI on Linux.

So. We will continue to support NPAPI and Adobe has promised to keep
maintaining Flash 10.x .

`Allan
