Yes, absolutely.  However, be aware that the outermost part of your
calculation must be in the same "dynamic continuable context" as that
from which you invoke a widget replacement with yield, do-page, or
whatever you prefer.  This will at least entail CPS-transforming the
functions involved in the calculation.  For more details, see
