Currently render menu accepts a string or function and treats it as a path element or action, respectively. My branch treats the function as a custom rendering method which is called th render the menu item. Can I make this change in the render- menu function or should I add another default behavior, say if the cdr of the entry is a cons instead of a fn or string?
