That fixed only a symptom. The problem is that Hunchentoot
(probably inadvertently) binds *print-readably* to t which produces
a lot of funny errors.

The ultimate responsibility for this behaviour lies in Bordeaux
Threads, but I'm not sure whether it should be changed there
or in Hunchentoot.

I've sent word to bordeaux-threads-devel, let's see what they
say.
